1. Measure the width of your blind (bracket-to-bracket).

2. Measure the height of your rolled-up blind (this includes the brackets and hem).

1. Remove your roller blind.

2. Remove one screw of the roller blind bracket and loosen the second.

3. Slide the Cov-A-Blind fitting into the back of your blind bracket.

4. Reisert the screw and tighten both. Then repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 with the other bracket.

5. Refit your roller blind.

6. Position the top edge of the box pelmet on your wall, then connect it to the magnetic brackets with a rotatory motion.

Please roll up your blind entirely before taking the measurements.

Our simple box pelmet, which can be fixed in a matter of minutes with a minimum of fuss, is required to conceal the workings of the top of awall or architrave (frame) mounted roller blind, giving a sleek and contemporary look.

The pelmet box is available in some standard wood or painted finishes. Alternatively, you can order a paintable base ready to customize.

In addition to the aesthetic improvements offered by Cov-a-Blind, the roller and mechanisms will be protected from dust. Also, the box will provide an effective block to light escaping at the top of the blind.

We supply a box pelmet 40mm (1.57 inch) larger than your exact blind width (including brackets) to ensure a correct fit.

When your rolled-up blind height (including bracket) is up to:
60mm (2.36 inches), pelmet height = 70mm (2.76 inches)
80mm (3.15 inches), pelmet height = 90mm (3.54 inches)
100mm (3.94 inches), pelmet height = 110mm (4.33 inches)

When your blind depth is up to:
62mm (2.44 inches), pelmet return = 76mm (2.99 inches)
